Targa Tasmania Rally 2008

Joshua Hilton, a keen motor racing enthusiast, has recently returned from participating in the Targa Tasmania Rally 2008. With a number experiences in rallies around Australia, Joshua thought that the Targa Tasmania Rally would be a challenge to his skills. For those that don't know, Targa Tasmania is an exciting International Classic. It is a tarmac rally with competitive stages on closed roads for the best touring, sports and GT cars in the world. It started in April 1992 and has continued annually ever since, establishing itself as a distinguished international motoring event.

Josh and Rod found themselves rubbing shoulders with a wide-range of motor racing personalities, including former World Champions and other well-known motor sport competitors from both Australia and overseas. The local boys were not to be intimidated as representatives of The Used Car Specialists though, and held their own throughout the 6 day race.

We are proud to say that the boys and the vehicle made it back in one piece.
